Heritage Hills HOA dba/Camelback Canyon Estates (CCE) was incorporated on March 3, 1970. Our community was an early adopter of the homeowners’ association model in the Phoenix area. The subdivision was completed in two phases, Unit I and Unit II. Unit I is the area shown on the aerial photo below as completed homes. Unit II is shown on the aerial photo below with only streets and lots delineated.

Cudia City Wash (sometimes referred to as Echo Canyon Wash) is a large arroyo that runs through our community that channels significant water after a good rain. There are also other, smaller washes in our community that are a portion of the Camelback Mountain watershed. These washes are owned and maintained by CCE.

Of the 70 acres that comprise our community, 30 acres are owned and maintained by the HOA. Maintenance includes the streets, streetlights, the turf areas in our cul de sacs, the washes and the desert landscape. The remaining 40 acres are our 107 single family parcels. Each property in the community abuts a common area.
